SUP size instructions - Stand Up Paddle boards
This sizing guide will help you to find the perfect SUP board for you.
* Keep in mind that the table is for guidance only.
SURF - these boards byreddesigned for surfing the wave. The boards are smaller in size and tilpuma (usually less than 10 feet in length), pointed and arched muzzle, narrow tail and distinctly curved bottom of board. These boards will be maneuverable when surfing the wave, but slower and harder to keep in a straight line. Long distance rowing is not suitable.
ALL-ROUND - universal boards, whichredintended for use in a wide variety of conditions. Such SUP boards are suitable for both wave catching and riding on smooth water. This is the most popular type of boards, also suitable for beginners. The boards are longer, wider, stable and easy to navigate on smooth water, but also manoeuvrable enough to surf the wave. Some models can be equipped with a sail and can also be used as wind boards. ALLROUND type boards will be the most recommended for beginners as well. The primary stability indicator is width and volume. For an adult who does not have the skills to swing, the recommended board volume should be at least multiplied by two. The minimum recommended width is 31 ″ inches or about 78 cm.
FLATWATER - whether the tourist boards are suitable for long distances. They are very stable, byreddesigned for fast straight-ahead driving, so they are longer than all-round boards, have an almost straight bottom and a large volume. Most often the length of such boards will be around 11 ″ - 12 ″ feet.
RACE - are similar in shape to flatwater boards, but narrower and slightly longer. This is the fastest type of board for racing. These, like "surf" boards, are all overredspecific driving style. The boards are less stable and will not be suitable for a beginner.
